Where Badgers Meet Venture Capital

BadgerVC is a student led organization at UW-Madison dedicated to making venture capital accessible to undergraduates. Through speaker events, workshops, and discussions, we help students learn how investors evaluate startups and how venture capital shapes innovation.

Our Story

BadgerVC was created to give UW-Madison undergraduates a space to explore venture capital.

Originally part of StratoVC, a group that has since transitioned into a student-managed venture fund, we launched BadgerVC as a dedicated student organization focused on education, community, and exposure to the VC world.

Our goal is to make an often-exclusive industry approachable, inspiring students who are curious about startups, investing, or entrepreneurship.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create accessible, real-world venture capital learning opportunities that empower undergraduates to explore, evaluate, and engage with early-stage investing.

We hope to provide meaningful learning experiences that make VC approachable and exciting!

Our team is comprised of driven students pursuing various careers in and outside of the startup economy. We encourage all members interested in entrepreneurship, venture capital, and exploring early-stage startups or investing to join us!
